CURSOR REVIEW: Debugging with AI Precision

Cursor rightfully leads the AI-assisted coding space. I use it daily, particularly when debugging active web apps built with frameworks like Next.js. Cursor's strength lies in terminal interactions, drastically reducing debugging time. A notable project was a Next.js + TailwindCSS + Shadcn UI admin dashboard for an AI company. Starting with a backend and API structure but no frontend, Cursor helped transition from a prototype to a fully operational app deployed on Vercel. The company's operations team now relies on it daily, showcasing Cursor’s exceptional frontend capability. The entire build took only four days.

Cursor - industry darling and rightfully. These folks helped define this space and continue to stay in a lead position. I use Cursor daily and it's a big part of my workflow. It's best for me when I need to intensely debug an active web app (like nextjs) and am having issues in my terminal. Cursor's AI can interact with the terminal, significantly speeding up intense debugging. This really became evident to me when I built a nextjs + tailwindcss + shadcn ui admin dashboard for an AI company I work with. They already had a backend built with proper APIs but nothing on the frontend. Working closely with cursor we were able to take this all the way from a prototype to an app that runs without errors on Vercel. The ops team at this company uses the dashboard daily now. I can't share links or images due to contract, but these AI really know frontend tasks well. Very proud of how this turned out. Total time to build was 4 days.
